  I recently celebrated 8 decades and 50 years of teaching yoga. As the years pass, my regular work with Ron has helped me in recovering full use of my hip, after replacement surgery. After an automobile accident, he worked on my back, neck and shoulders, helping to keep them open and flexible. Ron's knowledge and techniques are the best. I know as I have had massages all over the world. He has many years of training and experience. His focus and concentration is impressive but best of all is he really cares. I recommend him highly.

  I have gone to many massage therapists in my 57 years and Ron is simply the very best. I work on my feet for long 12+ hours shifts and was hobbling w/ pain if I sat down and got up… I have suffered from chronic foot and ankle pain for well over a year as well as hallux rigidus for Several years. Ron’s work can be as intense as his client can abide. Within one session my foot pain was reduced 75% after the 2nd session my left foot/ankle hobbling was completely gone & my foot with near zero pain. His work on my hallux rigid us is phenomenal. His strength and skill knowledge of anatomy as a massage therapist are unsurpassed. I have two friends to whom I have recommended Ron and they have had similar excellent results. Ron is a true healer.

  I recently relocated to Willits from Hawai'i, and the stress of moving aggravated a knee injury that I'd experienced just weeks prior. I arrived in California barely able to walk or put weight on my left knee, and after a day of pain, discomfort, and general immobilization, I was referred to Ron by a friend who is also a "body practitioner." Upon first meeting Ron, he immediately began to demonstrate that he is a kind, astute, knowledgable, and utmost professional practitioner. Aside from his very apparent and thorough knowledge of human anatomy and his practice, Ron has an appreciation for his clients' pain and/or discomfort and will talk you through your session, if necessary, to achieve the optimal result. He also considers the whole body while working on you, rather than focusing on just the area you've identified that needs work. I limped into Ron's office in moderate pain for my first 90-minute session. While I couldn't give him a definitive diagnosis, his assessment and work began immediately, and I was able to walk out of his office is less pain than when I first came in. It would take a day or two for the swelling and pain to subside, but soon after the session I was walking again and feeling much better. I then scheduled a follow-up session for the following week, and I now plan to see him regularly as I heal. Ron is AWESOME, and I left that first session knowing and trusting that I was in good hands, and in the hands of someone who took his job and my health seriously. I highly recommend Spartan Body Works! Aloha :-)
