I’ve trusted Rachael at Halo with my hair for the last eight years. Coming from Los Angeles, I did have high expectations and was initially blown away by the reasonable cost. After she did my hair I thought “this is incredible - she’s better than the stylists in LA at half the cost”. And that remains true to this day! She’s the only one I trust with my hair, and through all my moves throughout our region I’ve continued to drive an hour + out of my way to go to Rachael because I love what she does to my hair. I have long hair that takes a mix of techniques - foil + painting, and I really just love that I can always trust her & love how it turns out. The salon is very clean, professional and I enjoy going there every time. Thanks, ladies ❤️

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it. The service I received felt careless, rushed, and frankly far below what anyone should expect from a professional salon. My appointment began poorly when the hairstylist was 20 min late. While I understand that delays happen, and sometimes due to customers ahead of me, the issue was that I was the one who ultimately paid the price for that delay. I had added a scalp refresh and deep conditioner to my haircut, expecting a relaxing treatment. Instead, it became one of the most uncomfortable salon experiences I’ve ever had. During the treatment, the stylist placed a stiff, unpleasant-smelling towel over my eyes and left me lying there for nearly 30 minutes while she sat on her phone. No hair conditioner requires that amount of time unattended, and the entire experience felt neglectful rather than restorative. I was left freezing the entire time and couldn’t understand how the condition of the towel went unnoticed before it was placed directly on my face. Because the stylist started late and allowed the treatment to drag on unattended, the remainder of my service felt rushed. My hair was barely dried after the cut, and I was told I would be late to the next service I had scheduled at the salon, despite the delay not being my fault. Unfortunately, the following service was equally disappointing. I paid $70 for what was advertised as a 30-minute massage and received closer to 10 minutes of actual massage time. I left feeling extremely disappointed and frankly disgusted by the lack of professionalism and attention to basic standards of service. For the prices being charged, customers deserve far better care, cleanliness, and respect for their time.

All the hairstylists are the best, I am making this to overrule the newest and absolutely nonsense negative reviews about the service. Some people just live nasty and decide to take it out on these amazing workers. They are all great and it’s the best salon in town. Don’t come spreading negativity and completely false and lying information about a session, these are real human beings not just “unprofessional stylists” most have been there for over a decade, and no one has the right to say something bad about them. Amazing place, definitely go here!! Best customer service and the best price for the amount of time spent on hair!

We do so many weddings with Melissa every year, and every time, without fail, I hear the most beautiful compliments about her from wedding parties in my Sprinter vans and even from other ladies chatting about their day. She always does such an incredible job. We also had the honor of doing her own wedding a few months back, and it was just the sweetest day, a true reflection of who she is. Melissa is such a kind, talented, and genuine person. If you’re looking for someone to do your makeup (and all that good stuff) she’s absolutely the one to call. Can’t wait to see you at the next one, Melissa, I think it’s in just a few weeks. Cheers! 🥂
